Events

Μία από τις βασικές υπηρεσίες του οργανισμού μας είναι η συμπληρωματική εκπαίδευση (Complementary Education), την οποία προσφέρουμε κυρίως μέσω της διοργάνωσης ακαδημαϊκών σεμιναρίων. Πρόκειται για ένα event διάρκειας 10 ημερών, κατά τη διάρκεια του οποίου φιλοξενούνται στο Ε.Μ.Π. 22 φοιτητές – μηχανικοί από όλη την Ευρώπη, ενώ παράλληλα συμμετέχουν και 8 – 10 φοιτητές του ΕΜΠ. 

Οι συμμετέχοντες παρακολουθούν διαλέξεις πάνω σε ένα συγκεκριμένο θέμα που αφορά μηχανικούς, συμμετέχουν σε workshops και company visits και στο τέλος καλούνται να εξεταστούν είτε υπό τη μορφή διαγωνίσματος, είτε υπό τη μορφή case study και παρουσίασης. Η δράση στηρίζεται από την ακαδημαϊκή κοινότητα του Ε.Μ.Π., η οποία σε συνεργασία με το BEST Athens, δομεί το περιεχόμενο του ακαδημαϊκού σεμιναρίου.

Μεγάλη σημασία δίνεται ακόμη στην πολιτισμική αλληλεπίδραση. Στο διάστημα αυτό διοργανώνονται κοινωνικές δραστηριότητες για τη σύσφιξη των σχέσεων μεταξύ των συμμετεχόντων αλλά και των διοργανωτών. Ταυτόχρονα,οι Ευρωπαίοι φοιτητές έρχονται σε επαφή με τον Ελληνικό πολιτισμό και την Ελληνική ιστορία, αλλά και μοιράζονται στοιχεία της δικής τους κουλτούρας.

BEST Days are events dedicated to familiarising NTUA students with BEST and its activities. These events are split into seasons corresponding with those of the BEST Courses (Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer) so that the aforementioned courses can be promoted more effectively to students. During these events, the organisers give advice on how to write the motivational letters needed to apply to the BEST Courses happening across Europe.

BEST Athens provides students with the opportunity of visiting the facilities of some of our corporate partners, where they can discover career and internship opportunities as well as get an idea of what their future professional environment is going to look like.

Furthermore, with the help of industry professionals in the fields of technology and engineering, we organise workshops on topics that are going to help the students throughout their career.

In addition, through Job Fairs, we connect students with leading companies, offering them the chance to explore job opportunities, network with recruiters, and gain valuable insights into the job market.
